Salesnet Australia is a leader in the development of Sales 2.0 as the norm of business to business sales organisations in Asia Pacific.

The key to Sales 2.0 is your salespeople being able to interact with a prospect in a moment when the prospect is open to interaction. Sales 2.0 is a completely different game – which is why we’re focused on the delivery of sales and marketing automation built around our ecosystem of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) partners and products.

Background

Salesnet Australia was founded in 2002 by Mark Parker and Clay Everett. The company was the exclusive APAC partner for then up and coming on demand CRM vendor Salesnet Inc (now part of RightNow Technologies Inc). Over the next 4-5 years Salesnet Australia built a significant customer base across the region and established the company as an expert in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and specifically on-demand sales automation solutions.

In 2006 Salesnet Inc (the US entity) was acquired by RightNow Technologies and is now part of the RightNow product set. We’ve continued to support the Salesnet application and our customers across the region.

As a business though, our company has changed from simply supplying technology and supporting customers. We expect to announce a number of new partners in the second half of 2008. 

As Managing Director, Mark has continued to build expertise around sales and marketing, and software-as-a-service.
